Green Gateway

The way we do business

Visit Green GatewayIn the face of the global challenges of climate change, fuel security and fuel affordability, the way we consume energy in our buildings in the UK is undergoing probably the greatest transition since the move from solid fuel to gas.

Standards have been set which at first glance seem difficult to achieve on the scale and within the time frame required – and these will only become ever more challenging in the future.

Mitsubishi Electric believes the need to change touches all those involved in the development and renovation of the building stock, both commercial and domestic. As well as increasing the efficiency of the fabric of buildings, new technologies and new ways of thinking are needed.

To us this means a more collaborative approach to applying environmental solutions to all buildings based on a principle of ‘doing the right thing’ – ensuring optimum efficiency, achieving real carbon reduction and, where possible, employing renewable energy sources.

Green Gateway is our response to this challenge and lays out the guiding principles on ‘the way we do business’. It is also an invite to other like-minded organisations to work with us to make our industries fit for purpose for the future.
